Hillsboro - Ellsworth Snyder, 88 of Hillsboro died at 4 a.m. Friday in Harris Sanitarium at Indianapolis. Mr. Snyder, a retired dairy farmer, spent most of his life in this community. He was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church. Born Sept 28, 1877, at Corydon, he was a son of William and Anna Bybee Snyder. He was married March 28, 1903 to Lula Nine of Hillsboro. She died Sept 19, 1952. Surviving are two sons, Ernest and Orrin, both of Indianapolis; four daughter, Mrs. Resa Johnson of Indianapolis; Mrs. Mabel Hardt of Beverly, NJ: Mrs. Louise Allen of Mucatine, Iowa and Mrs. Nina Hicks of Clermont; a brother, Art of Freemont, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Sterns of Denver and Sylvia Wilson of Delta, Colo; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday. =kbz
