Died near Yountsville, Catharine Arnold Snyder. Catharine Arnold was born April 5, 1816. Died April 20th, 1893. She was married to John Snyder March 4, 1838 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio and to them were born six children, three girls and three boys. She leaves a son and three daughters to mourn for her. Mrs. Snyder was confined to her bed since Sept 25th nearly 7 months. She endured her suffering with patience and fortitutde and said she was ready and willing to go when her Master called. She united with the New Light Church in her girlhood and was always a consistent Christian. A good mother and loved by all who knew her. "Her life's work was well done. True all we know must died, Though none can tell the exact appointed hour. Nor should it cost the virtuous heart a sight. Whether death doth crush or nip the opening flower." - kbz
