ATTICA – Leotha May Snider, 73, of Rt. 2, Attica, died Monday in Soldiers’ Home at Lafayette. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church at Attica and Attica War Mothers. She also belonged to the Birthday Club of Riverside. She was a resident of Lafayette and Riverside communities and had attended school in Shadeland. Born in Elizabethtown, Ky., May 14, 1903, she was a daughter of Pious and Minerva Barker Peak. She married Marion Alfred Snider at Lafayette on Dec. 26, 1927. He preceded her in death in June 1966 She is survived by four sons, James of Belt, Mont., Joseph of Saginaw, Mich., George of Attica and Marion of Elkhart; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Rosemary) Hatke of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Corbett of Mesa, Ariz.; 23 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis Xavier Church with the Rev. William Bath officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery at Lafayette. Friends may call at Maus Funeral Home at Attica 5-9 p.m. Tuesday. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday. – jlr
