Marion, Ind - Arthur D. "Jack" Snider, 50 of Marion died Friday in Veterans Administration Hospital at Marion. Mr. Snider had been a carpenter. He had served in the Navy and was a 1961 graduate of Crawfordsville HS. He was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America, Local 537.,, Aiken SC, American Legion and East Side Baptist Church at Crawfordsville. He was born Feb 18, 1943, at Crawfordsville to Arthur Willard and Galalla Christina Harrison Snider. Surviving are two sons, Travis J. and Michael Jason, both of Waynetown; a brother, Dennis Duane of Marion and a sister, Deanna S. long of New Market. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy Bannister. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. James Harris officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with military graveside rites. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. - kbz
