Mrs. Rebecca SPILMAN, wife of Ira Spilman, died at her late residence on t he Greencastle Rd. Sun. morning at 3 o'clock after a long and painful illn ess from consumption, coupled with an abdominal abcess. The deceased was 36 years of age, and a daughter o of the late Dr. Thomas LYON, who died in this city about two years since. She leaves a husband, 3 little boy s, a mother, 5 sisters and one brother to mourn, besides a host of firm fr iends, who had learned to respect and admire her as a noble, self-sacrificing wife and mother, friend and neighbor. The funeral occurred yesterday a fternoon, Rev. JP Ewing offic. Interment at Odd Fellows' Cemetery
