Yeddo - Sarah Smith Sowers, age 82, long a resident of the Yeddo and Kingman communities, died suddenly at her home here Thurs at 7:15 p.m. Her death was due to complications. With the exception of two years spent in Michigan, Mrs. Sowers had lived her entire life in Yeddo and Kingman communities. Mrs. Sowers was born June 13, 1869, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Smith. She was married to John M. Sowers of Kingman in 1900. Mr. Sowers died just a year ago, Dec. 1, 1950. Mrs. Sowers is survived by a foster-son, Victor Sowers of Kingman and one sister, Mrs.Bessie Childers also of Kingman. One of 7 children born to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers. Services in her memory will be conducted at the Spencer Funeral Home in Kingman with buried in Cemetery south of Kingman.
