Wallace
- Kedric Leon Sowers, 63 of Wallace died at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday in his
home. He was retired from Hudson Machine Tool. Mr. Sowers was a
member of the Wallace Christian Church; the Wallace Masonic Lodge and
the Fountain/Warren County Police Lodge. He was also a reserve deputy
sheriff for Fountain County and a town marshall for Kingman, Veedersburg
and Hillsboro. He was a graduate of Wallace HS and had attended IN
State University and the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He was born
Oct 19, 1934 at Crawfordsville to Vernice and Elon Daniel Sowers. He
married Marilyn Hudson on May 15, 1955. She survives. Also surviving
are his mother; two sons, Keddy and Dan a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Cindy)
Ellis a sister, Kaye Blacketer of Veedersburg and eight grandchildren.
His father, one son and two stepfathers are deceased. Funeral services
are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in Shoemaker Funeral Home 202 St. Rd
25 S. Waynetown with Rev. Richard Wright and Gary Johnson officiating.
Burial in Wallace Lutheran Cem at Wallace. Friends may call 4-8 p.m.
Fri at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Wallace Christian Church, the Family Hospice of Western Indiana and the
