Sowers - Huston

Huston Sowers, 76, died at 5:30 p.m. Fri in his home four miles northeast of Wallace. He had been ill for 2 years and serious for two weeks with a heart ailment. He was a farmer. The son of Emsley and Helen Keller Sowers, he was born in Fountain County Jan 13, 1874. He married Gertie Keeling at Yeddo Sept 26, 1897. Survivors are the widow; a son Oral of Wallace, three daughters, Mrs. Ada Stephens of Mellot; Mrs. Lenora Yerkes of Wallace and Mrs. Thelma Delks of Crawfordsville. 10 grandchildren and 5 greats. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Freedom Church W. of Wallace, with Rev. John Servies in charge. Bur will be in Centenn.
