The funeral of Guilford Sowers, 16-year-old son of Mr.& Mrs. Earl Sowers who died at Mobile, Ala Monday night a victim of peritonitis (fluid in lungs) which developed following a recent operation will be held from the First Baptist Church here at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The body arrived in this city over the Monon RR at noon Wed and was taken to the Sowers home on the Yountsville road where it will remain until time for the funeral.
