Kingman -- Mrs. Ellen Sowers, 69, widely known Kingman resident, d. at her home in Kingman Thurs afternoon at 3 o'clock. Her death was caused by a stroke of paralysis, suffered Jan 3. Mrs. Sowers was b. March 6, 1867 in Parke Co the daughter of Elwood and Martha Lewis Lindley. On Sept 28, 1887 she became the w/o John M. Sowers who d. Aug 31, 1934. Mrs. Sowers was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eba Sanders of Kingman and 3 grandch. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
