Brett James Songer, 21, Veedersburg, died Thursday in
Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. Songer was employed at
Songer Farms, Inc. He was a 2001 Fountain Central High School
graduate. He was born Dec. 25, 1982, at Danville, Ill., to
Stephen A. and Jahn S. Rich Songer. Survivors include his
parents; his fiancee Karen A. Henley; one son, Dylan James
Songer; one brother, David A. Songer, Veedersburg; maternal
grandparents, James and Freda Rich, Veedersburg; and special aunt
and uncle, Robert and Marcie Roark, Veedersburg. His paternal
grandparents are deceased. Graveside services are scheduled 11
a.m. Monday in Bonebrake Cemetery, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Tim
Lyons officiating. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday in
Parham-Shelby Funeral Home, 505 N. Main St., Veedersburg.

funeral home.
