Mrs. Wonda Smith, 75, a former resident of this area, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the home of a son, Leslie R. Smith, at Terre Haute. She had made her home with the son since her health began failing. Born in the Waynetown area, she also had resided at Crawfordsville and Kingman. Her husband, Edward, died many years ago. Survivors in addition to the son with whom she made her home are another son, Charles L. Smith of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Callahan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute. Graveside rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. – jlr
