Gene Carver, 2109 S 9th Street has received word of the death of his mother, Mrs. Harry O. Smith, 59 Sunday afternoon at Spirit Lake, Idaho. She died in the home of another son, Harold. She formerly lived at Crawfordsville and her husband was a city fireman there until he retired. They had been living in Idaho about a year. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Christian Church at Crawfordsville. Surviving besides the husband and two sons are another son, Eddie of Kokomo, and sister, Mrs. Glenn Clough of Crawfordsville. The body will be sent to Crawfordsville - kbz
