Mrs. Hazel SMITH, 64, resident of Waveland died Saturday July 25, 1959 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She had been seriously ill the past two weeks. Mrs. Smith was born March 7, 1895 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Joseph and Amanda Barker Morgan. She married carl Smith July 21, 1919 at Rockville. She was educated in the Waveland schools and lived most of her live in Waveland. Survivors include the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Bazzani and Miss Hulda Smith, both of Waveland; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter and four brothers. Funeral services were conducted Monday by John R. Servies at the Machled & Servies Funeral Home. Burial was in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. William Machledt played organ selections. Pallbearers were nephews of Mrs. Smith.

Hazel Smith Dies; Services Are Held -- Mrs. Hazel Smith, 64, died at 4 a.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been seriously ill the past two weeks.
