Linden - Mrs. Queenie Victoria Smith 63 a resident of Linden and Lafayette most of her life, died Saturday morning at Shahan Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. Born Feb 17, 1889 at Tompkinsville, Ky, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Smith and Eliza Ferguson. She married George Smith March 1, 1905. She was a member of the Linden Methodist Church. Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. George Hart, Providence, Ky; and Mrs. Lalia Purcell, Indianapolis. The body was taken to King Funeral Home in Linden where services will be held 2 p.m. Monday Rev. B.K. Johnson will officiate. Burial at Linden Cemetery. - kbz
