Mary J. Smith died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank Castor, Friday morning, aged seventy two years. She was the daughter of Isaac Smith, who died on the same farm many years ago. Mary Jane never married and for several years made her home with her sister. She was an industrious, quiet, good old lady, and lived her allotted time, loved by all that knew her. Her funeral was held Saturday, interment at the Lutheran Cemetery, east of town. -s
