Lester Smith, 61, owner of the Linden Print Shop who formerly operated a grocery store in Hillsboro died at his home in Linden at 3 p.m. Sunday after an illness of several months duration.  He was well known in Williamsport, Waynetown, Cayuga and Hillsboro having moved from Hillsboro to Linden in 1951 where he operated a print shop.  He was the son of George and Henrietta Smith and was born Nov 1, 1891 in Milford, Ill.  He was married to Dorothy Zimmerman, July 12, 1916.  He was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church.  Survivors include the widow; a son David A. Smith of Lafayette; and four daughters: Arlene Smith at home; Mrs. Cora Williamson, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Guy W. Hallock of Milford Ill and Mrs. Grace Cox of Wateska, Ill; two brother, Charles W. Smith of Ambia and Oscar W. Smith, Lanoke, Ark.  King and Brown Funeral Home of Linden was in charge and funeral services were held at the Williamsport Christian Church on Wednesday afternoon. T he Rev. Douglas Dickey of Milford, Ill officiated.
