Jeanette M. Smith, 93, Lancaster, passed away Thursday Dec 4, 1997 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, MZ Kreider Chapter No 145 OES, Areme Club, White Shrine and Musana Study Club. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Robert Stetson; granddaughters, Jay (James) Bahnsen and Joanie Stetson and four great grandchildren, Allison Bahnsen; Bradley Bahnsen; Lindsey Farrell and Corey Farrell, all of Lancaster. She was preceded by her husband, Melvin Z. Smith; sister, Margaret Tinsley; and parents, George and Claudia Tinsley. Private funeral services will be held Monday at the convenience of the family with Rev. Robert Kimes officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed. The family suggests contributions be made in her memory to First United Methodist Church. Arrangements were completed by Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. – kbz
