NEWTOWN — Mrs. Iva Smith, 69, died at 4:30 p. m. Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William D. Mitchell, near Newtown. She had been in failing health for several months. Mrs. Smith was born Feb. 10, 1890, near New Richmond and was married to David Smith. He died in 1929. Mr. and Mrs. Smith lived most of their married life in Attica. Survivors include her daughter; two sons, Guy and Carl Smith, both of Attica; two sisters, Mrs. Roxey Shafer of Chicago and Mrs. Viola Chapel of Attica; two brothers, Charles of Veedersburg and Ora Stonebraker of Danville, Ill.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the DeSutter Funeral Home at Attica. Funeral arrangements are pending. --typed by Walt W

NEWTOWN — Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Smith will be held at 2 p. m. Friday in the DeSutter Funeral Home at Attica. Burial will be in the Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg. Mrs. Smith died in the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Mitchell near Newtown. --typed by Walt W
