Hubert H. Smith New Market- Hubert H Smith, 87, formerly of New Market, died Saturday at Daytona Beach, Fla. Mr. Smith was a member of the Rotary and Kiwanis clubs and was a veteran of World War I. He had been a superintendent of schools at Hammonton, N.J., for many years He was graduated from New Market High School and attended Wabash College and Columbia University. Born May 13, 1893, at New Market, he was a son of Bullard and Lucy Harris Smith. He was married in 1919 at Waveland to Helen Shanks, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Randall of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter Mrs. Scott (Dorian) Vanderbuilt of Scarsdale, N.Y.; two nieces, Sara Smith of Crawfordsville and Grace Arvin of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday in the Baggett & Summers Funeral Home at Daytona Beach. Burial will be at Daytona Beach. smc
