Miss Fannie Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Smith, departed from this life at 4 o'clock last evening at her home on WHitlock Avenue. Since early childhood Miss Fannie was a member of the Methodist Church and Rev. Tucker will conduct the funeral services at the residence at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon under auspices of the Daughters of Rebeckah. Her death was due to lung trouble and she has been ill for some time. The remains will be interred at Oak Hill cemetery.

Tuesday afternoon Miss Fanine Smith, aged 21 years, died at the home of her mother on Whitlock Avenue. She had been ill but a short time and her death, while expected, is a blow to her friends. The funeral occurred Thursday at 2 o’clock, Dr. Tucker officiating. The funeral was under the auspices of the Daughters of Rebecca.  Miss Smith was a popular and amiable young lady of many graces and noble traits. She was a faithful member of the M. E. Church and her death is mourned by all who came within the touch and influence of her life.
