Smith - Ethel
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 9 December 1898
God has again entered our midst and claimed one of our dearest—little Ethel Smith. She had suffered for some time, but is now relieved. It seems that the word of God is cruel, but he is merciful; he has relieved her of her pains and now she rests in that beautiful kingdom of love where suffering is never known. She was born on the 13th day of April, 1894, and died Nov. 22, 1898. She was the daughter of Howard Smith. The funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church and her remains were laid to rest in the Lutheran Cemetery.
