The following poem was written by Claude at the time of his death

If we could see beyond the skies
And take one look at Paradise
Would we have more hope and faith and love
For that dear heavenly land above?
Oh, no, 'tis better, better by far
To have all things just as they are
No mortal mind could understand
The wonders of that immortal land
So while we are here, let us pray
And love, and live for God each day
And in loving Him, we shall be blessed
In that faraway home of Eternal Rest
Then we shall know, and know ere long
What is told in verse and sung in song
How if we will ever faithful be
Shall walk with Him through Eternity.
