Note: This is my great uncle and in my grandfather's belongings, I found this : (Karen Bazzani Zach)
Mrs. CG Power, 912 E. Bannock St, wrote to my grandfather at the time of Bert's death -- Dear friend, We are all very sorry about Bert. He was a fine neighbor. I guess he would want it to be the way it was, as he surely didn't want to be a burden on anyone. His neighbors were all real good to him, especially the Jones family & Mrs. Bates, too. George was with him a lot before he (George) passed away but I am afraid I didn't go see him as often as I should. I do all my own work and don't find much spare time. Bert didn't have to suffer any and we can all be thankful for that. I am enclosing a clipping (above) I found in the newspaper and thought you would like to see it. I hope you will have a good and Happy New Year. Sincerely Yours, Mrs. CG Power.
