The funeral of Mrs. James Smith was held here on Thursday of last week. Rev. Lawhon conducted the services assisted by Rev. Jakes. Her death was due to consumption from which she had been a sufferer for many years. She was the daughter of John Tomlinson of this place. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant.
