Smiley - Mollie Robertson

- Mollie J, daughter of John and Mary E. Robertson was born April 29, 1881. She graduated from the Waveland HS in June 1900. She married William S. Smiley Nov 1, 1900. To them were born two sons, James Harold aged 8 and Lawrence Robertson aged 4. She joined the Methodist Episcopal Church of Waveland during the revival meeting of 1889 under the pastorage of the Rev. Henry L. Kindig. Her life has been an open book, and as read by her friends, showed forth the graces that make up a true Christian life. She was a loving wife and mother, and a kind and sacrificing friend - a good woman. She died at her home in Marshall after a brief illness. Aug 24. The funeral services at the Waveland ME Church on Thursday afternoon at two were conducted by Rev Mr. Hargrave of Russellville. Internment at Maple Ridge Cemetery. kbz
