Small - Rosetta McAlister

Waynetown, March 12 - Word was received here Friday of the death of Mrs. John N. Small at her home in Idaville, Ind. Mr. and Mrs. SMall were former residents of Waynetown and have numerous relatives in th is vicinity. Rosetta McAlister Small, daughter of Martin and Katie Pence McAlister was born in Warren County, Ind about 56 years ago.
Both parents died while she was a young child and she was taken into the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Elam Small and cared for as their own until she was 18 when she united in marriage to John N. Small, who with two sons and three daughters are left to mourn their loss. Two sons preceded the mother, one having died across the seas during the world war. She is also survived by one brother, George McAlister of Minnesota.
Mrs. Small had been in failing health for some time, having suffered a stroke of parlysis some weeks ago. The body will be brought here for burial. The funeral will be conducted at the Christian Church here Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment at the Masonic Cemetery - kbz
