Cleo I. Slazas, 90 of Crawfordsville died at 11:45 p.m. Saturday Oct 9, 1999 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. Born on May 12, 1909 near Covington, she was the daughter of James AND Anna O (Wolfe). She married George R. Slazas on June 24, 1933 in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death in 1978. Surviving, are a daughter, Carolyn (Richard Turner of Crawfordsville😉 a son, James R. Slazas of Tustin, Calif; two brothers, Donald Glover of Williamsport and Harlan Glover of Covington. She was preceded in death by three brothers Albert, Wayne and Frank Glover, and four sisters, Bernice Dunkin, Lucille Codard, Louise Schaek and Jean Volz. She was a member of New Liberty Christian Church near Hillsboro and a 1927 graduate of Covington HS. Visitation was Wed at Powers Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville Servies at 11 a.m. on Thursday at New Liberty Christian Church with Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. --–kbz
