Leo, only son of James and Dullie Skillman, died the first of last week. Also Thomas Dewey, little son of Willard and Emma Finchum, died on Saturday morning of scarlet fever. These two death within a few days of each other, and some twelve or fifteen other cases of the dread scarlet fever in the town of Raccoon has caused considerable uneasiness to the people of this community and every precaution is being taken to prevent the spread of the disease. - s
