William J. SMITH, one of the old engineers of the Central Indiana died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Goens in Cincinnati on Tuesday of last week. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and for some time has been a pensioner of the Grand Lodge in lieu of residence in the state home. While he has been in poor health we understand that his death was unexpected. His funeral eas conducted by College Hill Lodge. He was well liked among the railroad men and nearly all the boys on the Midland and Central Indiana fired under him.
