Smith - Jefferson Davis

Mr. and Mrs. Enoch R. SMITH brought the remains of their
youngest son, Jeff Davis Smith, who lately died near
Crawfordsville, Ind. to Lexington and interment. His disease was
dropsy and spinal affection, his age 24. Mr. and Mrs. Smith
return many thanks to their relatives and friends who met them at
the Cemetery We remember little Jeff when his parents lived in
Fayette, a bright curly headed boy, who was a great favorite of
his teachers, Mary Sparks and Mattie Anderson. (Paris
