Skaggs - Judith Szumlinski

U.S. Veteran Judith Rose Skaggs, 50, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday night at Methodist Hospital.
Mrs.
Skaggs was an Airborne Ranger in the U.S. Army, discharged in 1989. She
was a nurse at Lane House Nursing Home. She graduated from Ritter High
School in 1975 before attending Marian College and graduating from IVY
Tech. She also bowled in the local ladies bowling league.
Mrs.
Skaggs was born January 13, 1957 in Michigan to Walter C. and Rosemary
T. Szumlinski. She married Kevin Eric Skaggs in Michigan on November 16,
1979. He survives in Crawfordsville.
Additional survivors include
two sons, Michael Skaggs, Crawfordsville, and Robert B. Skaggs, Ladoga,
as well as one granddaughter, Destiny Rose Skaggs of Ladoga.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral
services will be Monday at 11 am in Burkhart Funeral Home,
Crawfordsville. Burial will follow with military rites by the American
Legion and VFW. Friends may call Sunday from 2-6 at the funeral home.
