COVINGTON – Susie M. Simpson, 75, of Covington died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient 11 days. Mrs. Simpson attended the Assembly of God Church at Covington and was a former employee of Meis Brothers Store at Danville, Ill., and Sprague Department Store at Covington. She moved to Covington in 1951 after residing in Missouri for 30 years. She was born Oct. 12, 1904, at Lebanon, a daughter of William and Lillie May Price Jones. In 1922 she was graduated from Perry Central High School near Lebanon. She was married June 17, 1929, at Danville, Ill., to Charles F. Simpson, who survives. Other survivors are three nephews, Paul Hutts and William L. Livengood, both of Covington, and Fred Jones of Plainfield; four nieces, Mrs. Mark (Barbara) Dinsmore, Mrs. Claude (Lavorne) Middleton and Mrs. Helen Misenheimer, all of Covington, and Mrs. Rlou Moore of Georgetown, Ill.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in DeVerter Funeral Home at Covington with the Rev. Edgar F. Allen and the Rev. Gregg Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lebanon. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. or 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home Graveside rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. -– jlr
