Wallace, Aug 1 -- Charles I. Simpson, 57 years old, a resident of Montgomery County nearly all his life, died at 6:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home near here of heart trouble after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Montgomery County Feb 10, 1866 the son of James & Harriet Simpson. He married Catherine Lamson in 1890. He had lived near New Market most of his life, moving from there about a year ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ and of the IOOF Lodge of New Market. He is survived by his widow, two children, Ray and Bessie, both at home; his mother of New Market; two sisters, Mrs. Art Buser and Mrs. Sam Day, both of New Market; and one brother, Ernest Simpson of Russellville. Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon with interment at Indiana Creek cemetery.

Charles I. Simpson, who formerly lived on the Brush farm, E. of town died near Wallace on Tuesday. He is survived by a wife and two children, Ray and Bessie. Mrs. Simpson was formerly Miss Kate Lamson.
