Ladoga -- Mrs. Mary Maude Sillery, 86, longtime resident of Ladoga, died at 2 a.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harley Rogers, where she had made her home the past two years. She had been in failing health for three years. Mrs. Sillery was born south of Ladoga Nov 2, 1880, daughter of John and Mary Brent Cline. She married George W. McDonald in 1907 in Indianpolis. In 1928 she married Oral Sillery, also in Indianapolis. Mrs. Sillery was a member of the Ladoga Church of the Brethren. She was a nurse and had taken her training at Old City Hospital, Indianapolis. Survivors include the daughter, a brother, Waldo E. Cline of Mason City, Iowa; four grandchildren and 10 greats. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Monday at the Gephart Funeral Home in Ladoga, Rev. Norris Rumbley pastor of the Ladoga Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial will be in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
