Waynetown Feb 10 - Mrs. Isabelle Shurr for over 50 years a resident of Waynetown died at her home this morning Wednesday Feb 10 at six o'clock following a short illness from pneumonia. Mrs. Shurr was a highly respected woman and leaves a large group of relatives and friends to mourn her death. The deceased was born 14 Oct 1846 near Covington, the daughter of George and Jane Bilsland Colalzer. She was united in marriage to Adolph SHurr, March 13, 1867. The husband passed away in December 1920. Mrs. Shurr was a member of the Waynetown Methodist Church. She is survived by 3 sons, William, Parkville, MO; Charles, Crawfordsville and Walter, Danville, Ill and one daughter, Mrs. Lou Simpson at home. Three sisters, Mrs. Martha Hays, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Lydia Craig, Champaign, Il and Mrs. Katherine Richardson, Lafayette survive as do 9 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the late residence Friday afternoon, 2 o'clock, interment in Waynetown Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
