Shumaker, Prime - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

COLFAX, March 4. (Special)- Prime Shoemaker, 72, a farmer of the Bowers community, died at 3:45 pm Wednesday at Culver hospital, Crawfordsville. He was born in Tippecanoe county, Sept. 22, 1864, and Dec. 27, 1884, was married to Jane Sutton. He had resided in the Bowers vicinity for 35 years. Surviving are the widow; two sons, John L., of Wyandotte, and O. J., Darlington; a brother, Reuben Shoemaker, Darlington, and two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Lucas, Hoopeston, Ill., and Mrs. Lucy Roberts, of Paoli. The funeral will be held at the residence Saturday at 10:30 am Rev. A. B. Coats officiating; burial in Bowers cemetery. – thanks to Lena
