Monroe Shultz, who formerly lived northeast of town, died at Newtown on Sunday of a complication of rheumatism and other diseases. He leaves a wife and 5 children. After selling his farm here, he moved to Texas but did not remain long. On Friday of last week, his brother, Edgar Shultz, fell from a barn roof which he was repairing and struck on his head. He was unconscious when found and remained so for several hours. No bones were broken and he seems to be as well as ever but has no memory of his fall or anything preceding it. kbz
