NEWTOWN, Ind. (CNS) — John Monroe Shultz, 63, of Wingate Route 1, died unexpectedly at 11 p.m. Sunday (June 29, 1975) at his home. He had not been seriously ill recently, though he had a heart condition. Mr. Schultz had farmed, operated a drug store in Newtown for several years, and most recently, had worked at RMC in Attica from where he retired five years ago. He was a graduate of Newtown High School, and was a member of United Methodist Church of Newtown. Born April 19, 1912 in Newtown he was a son of Monroe and Alta Riffle Schultz. On April 7, 1950, he married Maxine Stout in Crawfordsville. She survives, as does a son, Royce, at home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with the Rev. Donald Watson officiating. Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Tuesday. --typed by Walt W
