Mrs. Anna Barbara Shuler, 84, died at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital where she had been admitted two hours earlier. Mrs. Shuler made her home here with a daughter, Mrs. George Lindley at 9 Park Lane East. She was born in Fountain County, daughter of George and Margaret Shoaf Allgood. She was married in 1899 to John H. Shuler. They were married at Veedersburg. She attended Fountain County Schools and was a member of Scotts Prairie Christian Church. Survivors include the daughter with whom she made her home; a son, Earl of Toledo, Ohio; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Powers Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are pending. Source: Crawfordsville Journal Review 14 Mar 1966 p 9 typed by Walt w Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Powers Funeral Home for 84-year-old Mrs. Anna B. Shuler with Rev. John Servies officiating. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the flowers were Hiram Lindley of Kingman, Carl W. Dismore of Veedersburg, Joe Pointer and Phi Wright of Crawfordsville, Dean Sample of Kingman and Cloid Shuler of Anderson. Organ selections were played by Mrs. Robert Middleton. Burial was in the family lot at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
