Shotts - Richard

New Richmond, Ind., Februray 18 – Richard Shotts, local blacksmith and machine shop proprietor, suffered severe injuries to his right arm and hand Monday while working in his shop. He had installed a new emery wheel and started it working when it flew to pieces. He was struck on the arm and hand. Shotts was taken to Culver Hospital where it was learned he had a broken arm and severely crushed hand. He has returned to his home from the hospital. – jlr
