Veedersburg -- Eunice Shoaf, 82, of 416 S. Home Street died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. She was a charter member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Veedersburg and its missionary society. She had taught Sunday School for 30 years. Mrs. Shoaf was born Nov 8, 1893 at Leavensworth, a daughter of Andrew and Rose Lee Trobaugh Givens. She married Guy Shoaf June 10, 1909 at Veedersburg. He died in 19688. Survivors are three sons, Walter of Coolidge, AZ; Earl of Roanoke, VA and Robert of Veedersburg; one brother, Russell Givens of Veedersburg; one sister, Mrs. Roy (Wanda) Wall of Veedersburg; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Cloyd Kiger officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Putnam Funeral Home here. The body will be in state one hour before the services.
