Mrs. Anna L Sheets, 86, lifelong resident of Clinton County died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at the home of her son, John Sheets, Rt 4, Crawfordsville She had been at the son's home for about six weeks and had been a semi-invalid for 12 years. Born April 22, 1874 at Kilmore, north of Frankfort, she was the daughter of Madison and Sarah Lipp. She was married more than 60 years ago to Oscar L. Sheets, who preceded her in death in June 1950. The husband was a prominent Clinton County farmer and livestock trucker. Mrs. Sheets had been a member of the First Pilgrim Holiness Church at Frankfort for many years. The survivors include 7 sons, John Sheets at whose home she died; Walter A. Sheets and Gerald J. Sheets both of this city; Everett M. Sheets and Glen R. Sheets, both of Indianapolis; Ralph W. Sheets of Carmel and Oscar H.. Sheets of Frankfort; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Bragg and Mrs. Sarah Roberts, both of Frankfort; two sisters; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandhildren. Funeral several services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Goodwin Funeral Home at Frankfort with Rev. Chester Wilkins and Rev. Oscar Sheets in charge. Burial will be in Kilmore Cemetery.
