Clarence E. Shaw, 77, 643 N. Exeter Ave., Indianapolis, died today in his home. Mr. Shaw was an engineer for B&0 Railroad for 46 years and worked for Evans Billings Co., for the past six years. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Worthington and the Capitol Conservation Club. Born July 27, 1899, in Vincennes, he was the son of Edward and Ida Reel Shaw. He was married to Mayme L. Patton, formerly of Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Edna Lammert of Indianapolis; a son, Clarence Eldon of Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Lois Bacik; a sister, Hazel Weeks of St. Petersburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Conkle Funeral Home Speedway Chapel with the Rev. Robert Shipley officiating. Entombment will be in Floral Park Cemetery at Indianapolis. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.--waw
