Ray T. SHARP died in the Methodist hospital, Indianapolis at 4 o'clock on Tuesday morning following a major operation on Saturday morning. Funeral services at the Christian Church this afternoon were in charge of Rev. Raymond Hartling. The pall bearers were Clarence Milligan; Theron Banta; Dr. Harbeson; AC Deere; Wayne Simms and Hubert Loudermill. The flowers were carried by Mrs. CF Moore; Mrs. Raymond Moore; Mrs. Charles M. Moore; Mrs. Loudermill; Mrs. Fred Rice; Mrs. Guy Durham; Mrs. Lee Foster; Mrs. TS Banta; Mrs TN Johnson; Mrs. Charles Heinen; Mrs. E Clark; Mrs. Wayne Simms; Mrs. Harbeson; Mrs. Machledt and Miss Virginia Moore. A quartet or Paul Emmert, Corta Dooley, OG Swanay and Myron Banta with Mr. Walker at the piano, sang Going Down the Valley and That Beautiful Land. Business houses closed during the funeral. Ray T. Sharp, the son of Theodore and Louise Hendrickson Sharp was born in Waveland 9-4-1881, and on Dec 25, 1904, he married India V. Wilson who survives him, with two sons, Floyd B. of Mooresville and Wilmer of Waveland; two brothers, Ira of Waveland and Winford of Wooster, Ohio. He lived for a time in Indianapolis, and was employed in the Burrin Pharmacy here for 27 years. He had been in business for himself for five years. He was a member of the Christian Church, serving many years as financial secretary of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Modern Woodmen. -- kbz
