-- Harold Seybold, 59, 411 W. Pike, a veteran of the Army AF during WWII, was stricken at work Monday morning and was dead on arrival at Culver Hospital. He had been employed for the past year by Schloot Furniture Co. Prior to that, he worked as a construction worker. He was a member of Byron Cox Post 72 American Legion. Born Feb 17, 1913 near Browns Valley, he was a son of Maurice and Mary Allen Seybold. He attended Brown Township Schools. Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth and Lyle, both of Crawfordsville and a sister, Mrs. Olive RIddell of Alamo. He was preceded in death by a brother. Services conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Powers Funeral Home with Rev. John Carter officiating. Burial in Indian Creek Cemetery, Byron Cox Post 72 will conduct military services at the cemetery. -- kbz
