– Mrs. Zola Fern SESSIONS, 63, longtime Waveland resident died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday June 15, 1965 at Culver Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past 3 years. Born May 8, 1902, in KS, she was the daughter of Charles and Lottie Blevins Caldwell. She was married to Wilbur Sessions of Waveland April 10, 1922 at Oswego, KS. The husband survives. Mrs. Sessions was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church. She and her husband and family moved to the Waveland community in 1948. She was a graduate of Cherryville HS in Cherryville KS and taught school in KS. Survivors in addition to the husband are a son, Dale Sessions of Waveland, 3 grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Lottie Fawcett of Neodasha, KS and Mrs. Mary Durham of Pretty Prairie KS and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Machledt & Servies Funeral home in Waveland. Rev. William Barbey of Waveland Baptist Church officiated. Burial in Old Union Cemetery.-- kbz
