CRAWFORDSVILLE — Charles "Bert" Servies, 68, a retired employe of Fauber Construction Co., died in his home, 203 Brook St., at 1:20 p.m. Monday. He was born at New Market and attended high school there. In 1932 at Crawfordsville, he was married to Jeanette Kessler who survives. Mr. Servies was a retired carpenter, contractor and office manager of Fauber Construction Co. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church at Crawfordsville and was past president of the Crawfordsville Lions Club. Surviving with the widow are two sons, Max Servies of Crawfordsville and S.Sgt. James Servies serving in the Air Force in England; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Nancy) Knowling of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Phillip (Sally) Bane of Wingate; three brothers, Darwin Servies of Waynetown, Lee Servies of Crawfordsville and Harney Servies Jr., of Chatfield, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Christa) Douglas of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Clay (Frances) Reddish of Greenwood and Mrs. Betty Morrison of New Market.--waw
