Muriel J. Searle, 79 of Hillsboro and formerly of Macon, GA died at 11:15 a.m. friday in Culver Union Hospital. Mrs. Searle worked in retail sales for the Burden-Smi8th Co in Macon. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Covington, the Legion of Mary and the Womens Club of the Holy Spirit of Macon. She was born March 22, 1914 at London, England to Arthur and Amy Robson Ashwill. She married Joseph H. Searle on July 29 ,1939 at London. He survives. They immigrated to Macon in 1952. Survivors include three daughters, Valerie A. McGrady of Hillsboro, Pauline F. Paruso of Savannah GA and Jane E. Doll of Vincennes; a brother, Paul F. Ashwill of Leicestersire, England; a sister, Phyllis V. Coates of Thomson, Ga; 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded by a brother and sister. The funeral mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Covington with Father Rasner officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends and family may call in Cramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown 6-8 p.m. Sunday. A rosary will be conducted at 7 p.m. - kb
