The death of Mrs. Louise Scott, wife of Tom Scott, occurred Tuesday morning at twenty minutes after eight. She had been a sufferer from consumption for ten years and for the last two months had been in a very serious condition. Before her marriage she was Miss Louise Phillips. She leaves her husband and two children, Leroy, aged eighteen, and Maud, aged fourteen The funeral occurred on Thursday morning at ten o'clock.

The funeral of Mrs. T. D. Scott took place from her late residence on east College street, on Thursday, December 13. at 10 o'clock, and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. T. J. Shuey, of the Christian church: interment at Masonic cemetery. Louisa Phillips was born March 28, 1855, and she was united in marriage to Thomas D. Scott on September 30, 1875, and died December 11, 1894. She was a member of the Christian church, having united with the church in May, 1887, living a consistent Christian life til the time of her death She leaves a husband, a daughter and a son to mourn her death.
